Off Island Public Courses

The golf clubs on the mainland side of Hilton Head are less expensive than the Hilton Head Island golf courses. If you do not mind the short drive off the Island, you will find some super tracts at more affordable rates. If you want to make a whole day of it there are some good clubs in the Beaufort area. Or if you not mind a boat ride, try Daufuski. It is worth it. Needless to say, some of the best golf lay outs are private, but where there is a will there is a way.

Private Golf Clubs: Before you arrive check with your local club, they may well be able to make arrangements for you to get on. Of course, if you are interested in real estate, any of the salesmen are usually more than willing to make a tee time for you. These clubs have some of the best practice facilities imaginable.
